Career Services Honored as Handshake Career Spark Award Winner
Arapahoe Community College (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ) Career Services has been named as a winner for 2025.
The Career Spark Awards use data to recognize higher education career centers in 3 categories: student engagement, employer engagement, and reporting and analytics. Handshake is the largest, most diverse early talent network in the country, actively connecting 75% of all U.S. college students through their school's career center with one million employers. Handshake is Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ's official online platform for students to find jobs and internships.
This award recognizes Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s efforts to offer students relevant and dependable support as they develop their careers, as well as support of students’ transition from Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ into the workforce. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ was one of just 40 nationwide institutions (out of more than 1,500 schools using Handshake) – and one of only 10 community colleges – to be recognized this year.
