It's time for another Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Staff Spotlight. Get to know Rashell Lemmons, Administrative Assistant for the English and Humanities Departments at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ.

Tell us a little bit about yourself. 

We have lived in Roxborough Colorado for 27 years, where we raised our amazing son. I love dogs, the bigger the better. We currently have two great pyrenees, Finn and Tobi-Wan, so if you see me wearing dog hair you will know why.

What is your job at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ?

Administrative Assistant for the English and Humanities Departments

What do you do at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ (explain your role)?

I do my best to support my faculty and instructors. I work with Banner, organize events, and hopefully take enough off the plates of my faculty that they can focus on the students.

How long have you been at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ?

17 months

Are you a part of any clubs / organizations / committees at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ or outside of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ? What are they and why did you choose them?

I am the Executive Assistant to the Classified Assembly Board and a mentor with the Buddy Program.

Why did you choose Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ?

I spent 20+ years in DCSD. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ has always been such a wonderful partner of DCSD that it seemed like a great next step.

What is your mountain (ultimate goal)?

When I eventually retire I would like to know that I have done the my best to help, support and promote those around me.

What's your favorite Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ memory so far?

Volunteering at the Affordable Art Festival. I had no idea the event was so huge. It was a great day spent with friends, serving Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, and seeing some amazing art.

Tell us a fun fact about you / Something people may be surprised to find out about you.

I learned to drive a Zamboni. Zamboni camp was my best Mother's Day gift ever!
